Welcome Young Adults |
|
One of our newest ministries in the Youth Ministry Office is Young Adult Ministry. Although it is a new ministry in the Parish, we are looking forward to providing a place for our young adults to gather and continue their growth in their faith. Right now, we are focusing on our college age and recent college graduates (18-30 years of age) young adults with hopes of expanding in the future. Look below for a list of our current offerings for young adults: |

· Buddy Packets- Buddy Packets are a way for us to keep in contact as you are away at school. You can join this ministry by simply emailing your college address to us and we will send you an envelope of goodies throughout the school year. · Retreats– We have received money and are looking forward to a few retreats this summer, but we need your help. Let us know what kind of retreat you would be interested in participating in by emailing us at afrazita@stmikellc.org. · Gatherings- The young adult program will be gathering during times which are typically breaks from the college school year. · Service Work- This summer was our first young adult trip to Guatemala and it was a huge success. We are looking for more opportunities to serve and people to lead these projects. This summer, we will be heading to Appalachia to serve. · Partnerships- We encourage all young adults in college to participate in your campus ministry programs at your universities. If you are in the Louisville area and out of college or not in college, check out the Louisville Young Catholics group at www.louisvilleyoungcatholics.org. · Eucharistic Life Work Camp– This May 31st through June 4th we will be taking a group to the camp sponsored by Gasper River Retreat Center.
